Have your dealer check Parts Bulletin M10-1 dated August, 2010. You can use a BF90 AX gear case...with some modifications. Gear case 41100-ZW1-B40ZA;
can anybody help me wire the old mercury 800 outboard to the new wiring? the pontoon had a 2012 mercury 9.9 4 stroke and now the kids want to tube! I

I agree with Racerone... The idle mixture screw should be 2 1/4 turns, like you said, unless it has contact breakers with serial numbers
I am looking at repairing/restoring this for a friend, and have not really worked with boat motors, Usually I stick with land based creatures. Any ideas
