So I managed to get most of the resin off the switch box using a heat gun, actually works quite well..

I would swap out the NGK plugs for champions they run better in OMCs. Look at the timer base wires see if anything is frayed or loose. Then with the motor
Pretty sure its just a drain line for top cover...just lays in bottom of cowl.
