    Did you torque the head bolts and flywheel nut to spec?
    head bolts 72-96 inch lbs
    flywheel nut 30-40 ft lbs

    check for bad connection on hot lead around the starter or starter solenoid...i am not sure but i think it picks up the 12v there...
