yeah, it drops down to 650 to 700. I have the manual. I thought it would affect all the plugs. I think I may have problem with #6 plug wire. touched it
You have the theory some what correct.
Johnny is a bit off,
1. No high idle on carbed marine motors...............ever.
Keep an eye on the plugs if they come out powdery white you need to rebuild the carb. The insulators should be a toasty brown for the center electrode.
