I run the engine under full load on the water for 25-30 minutes then engine starts missing out real bad and finally quits. After setting for 30-45 minutes
Never use starting fluid to start you motor. You risk scoring the piston and cylinder. It needs the oil in the gas to lubricate the internal parts.
I narrowed my issues down to the fact that I have a '73-75 engine and a '77 remote control/switch. I just received a switch from marineengine.com. I ordered
