125 no spark .Individual conn

125 no spark .Individual connected the battery terminal backwards and cranked over the engine.Now he has no spark. What are the stator resistance specs or rect/reg checks?

Connecting the battery cables backwards can have a very bad effect on the CD Modules, and the sensor coils.

I would check the sensor and stator for output. On these engines you can use an ordinary multimeter for both. The stator will give you a good reading (AC volts). The sensor will deflect the needle a bit. If these seem okay, check the output of the CD module.

You should also check the kill circuit.

All of these things could be damaged due to the 12 volts being attatched to ground.
