If any one can tell me what the correct firing order is I would be very greatful. 1978 is the year 21 ft Bayliner inboard

"Hi,
I have taken over a boat with a brand new Volvo penta (3.0L) gas engine. The old firing order (on the old junction box) reads 1-3-4-2, however, this seems totaly wrong, gas and some flame (Hmmm) come out of the carb. The ofiring order seems wrong. Does anyone know if this is the correct firing order for a LB 30L?

"Andrew- make sure the rotor is on the #1 cylinder at TDC when you index it. You could have been 180 degrees off. If it is off by that much, you'll need to remove the distributor and rotate it so the rotor points to #1.
