I have a problem. I have a merc 150 that i put a complete waterpump kit in and now the idle water pressure dropped from 4 to 2 pounds.At wot it dropped from 14 to 12 . It doesnt get hot but it concerns me . Is there anything I can do to increase pressure like change tstats and poppets. Please help and thanks in advance
 
I have a 1997 40 hp Tohatsu t

I have a 1997 40 hp Tohatsu that ran great until I took it out of the water for about 2 months. When I put it back in it was hard to start and then ran for slow speed for about 2 miles and when I increased the speed it ran great for about 1/2 mile and completely shut down. It will now start up but cuts off almost immediately. Help
