" i understand that the dist tube is put into the manfold from the exhaust discharge end but i have seen manfolds with no tubes, manfolds with the tubes put in from the other end also the water supply going in at the end ,and from the bottom. what is the proper setup or can these manfolds be run without any tubes. thanks Noah "

" I just received a new set of Osco manifolds for my 360 and I had the same question. My engine does not have any angle so I do not need the tubes and the water is coming into the lower front. However, the Osco diagram shows the tubes used for engines at an angle, inserted from the exhaust outlet end usually the rear or "lowest end" of manifold so the water exits into the riser.Water input to the lowest point so as the water fills mainfold air will escape out the tube and keep the maifold full of water "
