Mariner 4 hp water not pumping out

the engine does not pump wate

the engine does not pump water out . How could i clean it.

" You can blow compressed air through the outlet. If you can hear the air traveling though the motor or better yet if you have the motor in a test tub and you see air bubbles coming up then you can start the motor and see if that has cleared the tubing. You may not get a lot of air coming up in the test tub, that is due to the offset of the inlet and outlet of the impeller housing (water pump)blocked by the impeller. If air has travelled through the motor freely but you have no water coming out while the motor is running you know it's time to check the impeller for wear and or damage. "
