" I have a 88 hp evinrude motor that is not charing the starting battery and from what i have read it seems to me to be the rectifier. i have had this changed once before becuase i hooked up the battery wrong on accident. But since then i can not rember doing that or seeing the same signs as before. rectifiers are fairly cheap and i was wondering if all you have to do to change them is the 2 bolts and the 3 wires. I am not sure of the number of wires because i keep my boat on a lake 2 hours away from home, so if was to buy one and go there to fix it will it be very hard. "
