"I just purchased a used boat and the digital fuel gauge (a column of black bars) does not appear to work properly. The 200 gal tank was approx. full and the gauge reads full. However, after running the boat on two short trips for a total of about 40 minutes the gauge has dropped to 1/2 a tank. I have no fuel leaks and the GPH gauge was reading a max. of 20 GPH during my runs so I know I did not burn 100 gal. The motors are still under extended warrantee until 1/09. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
