I AM IN QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA AND WOULD LIKE TO CONVERT MY LONG SHAFT YAMMY TO A SHORT . IF ANYBODY CAN HELP ME OUT HERE THAT WOULD BE GREAT .THANK YOU . KEVIN .

Does your motor have a removable sleeve between the gearbox and mid section? If it does then the answer is yes you can shorten it.

tonyaus . unfortunatly not 2001 yamaha has 2 different castings for short & long . I was hoping someone might have the parts s/hand .thank you for your answer thougt .kevin
