"I have a 2000 9.9HP 4 Stroke,

"I have a 2000 9.9HP 4 Stroke, where should the water discharge come out through the middle of the prop or on the left higher up on the engine? I put a pair of water hose muffs on there and couldn't find where the water was coming out. Any help?"
