"I have tried everything electrically. This one makes no sense unless the several re-manufactured motors I have tried are simply not strong enough. Vintage Mustang owners talk of a high torque starter they use in off street racing. This engine is in a salt water 21ft (1968 hull)Highliner Yeah, I like old stuff. Being a salt water guy I know about corrosion
and the first thing was to replace cables and connectors. I helped rebuild this engine in the mid nineties and bought it a few years later. Mechanically this engine is as close to perfect as factory. Compression and timing are dead on.
Any ideas? Thanks Dan."
