"I have a 1995 300 Sea Ray Sun

"I have a 1995 300 Sea Ray Sundancer powered with twin v drive inboards (5.7 Ltr Mercs-Blue water series) that are carbureted. At idle and low RPM, the engine sycro needle sits dead center. However, when I increase the throttles, the needle on the sycro goes all the way to the portside engine. The RPM guages show they are both running even. Could it be a faulty connection? This just occurred this past weekend."

"That or the gauge. Check the back of the gauge for corrosion. Switch the tach wires on the gauge and see if it moves to the starboard engine. If it does, replace gauge."
