Steering end play

I have manual cable steering.

I have manual cable steering. There is end play in the cable where it mounts to the bellcrank.
Is there any adjustment for end play?
Info on installing cable system but nothing about attaching end of cable to bellcrank.

"make sure the nut is tight. other than that, no adjustment on cable. are you certain the play is not in the tiller arm?"
