671 JampT 485bs port motor smoking

"100 hours on majors. Engines run fine but port motor smokes real bad getting on top (black fuel) and continues to run lignt brownish at rpm while starboard motor runs clean. Max RPMs 2250 on port, 2450 on starboard.
Been to the prop shop twice now and the gut is telling me to see my mechanic because I should not have to have varience in pitch to get equal RPM's. Hmmmmm I think he's probably right! This is the 3rd set of props and it's not much better. One fellow asked if I had an After cooler that may be plugged up? I've been through all the filters, including new Walker Airseps."

You would not believe the amount of dirt and crap laying on top of the fins on that aftercooler. It was 50% plugged!
