Oil pressure sensor switch is closed by oil pressure; oil does not get inside the sensor.

Oil pressure sender is a potentiometer inside of a canistor with a diaphragm between the oil and the pot. Oil pressure forces movement of the pot. as pressure changes. Oil is not supposed to get past the diaphragm.

Seloc manual specs. 30 to 55 PSI oil pressure at 2000 RPM. Add the appropriate oil to the fill mark; sensor is probably working but gauges are not that accurate. If you are concerned about the oil pressure; install a quality mechanical gauge in place of the sensor to verify the pressure. Is it time for an oil and filter change?
