" The Merc's Ser.#1988864 can you guys tell me the year so that I can get a pump diaphragm, and rear rubber cowling mount? Also after pulling the back plate to inspect the cylinder water jacket I see that the guy that owned it had ran it in saltwater and it has quite a bit of buildup. What is the best method to clean it out, and have any of you tried white vinagar or CLR cleaner?
