Choke

have you tried pushing the key

have you tried pushing the key in while starting? My 1989 has electric choke operated by pushing the key straight in towards the dash. It's gotta have a choke somewhere.
 
the quicksilver control box ha

the quicksilver control box has the electric choke but it is used on many difernt models. when i push it in i dont hear the click or see any change.there is nothing connected to the butterfly.
