The honda power head is ideal

The honda power head is ideally suited for the conversion.The exhaust/water outlet set-up is the reason.Volvo-penta had such a unit on the market 20 years ago. Weight was said to be 64 lbs and was ideal for racing oriented boats. I do not know the name of any company doing this conversion today.
