I believe I have a stuck relay
I believe I have a stuck relay in my 2000 150HP HPDI tilt/trim. The trim was intermittently and "on it's own" raising all the way up without either switch being engaged. Now it's stuck in the down position with the tilt motor running all the time. I've disconnected both switches but there is no effect. I have to disconnect the motor from the battery or disconnect the two wires which lead to the trim motor to shut it off. Without a shop manual I don't want to go any farther to find the actual relay or solenoid that's stuck or burned out. Any help would be appreciated.
