"A mechanic was addressing other issues and I mentioned one engine had a higher engine temperature than normal on the last few trips. I also mentioned that there appeared to be a black tint to the engine coolant when you open the cap. He told me that I was getting combustion in the engine and it would get worse and would eventually force the coolant out of the engine. He said it was probably due to an injector tube leaking or possibly a cracked head. He said to continue running the engine until I had to address the issue. Does anyone have any experience with this type of issue? Do you think his advise of waiting is correct?
