"My 1985 Yam 3 cyl 90HP is randomly engaging into safe mode. There are no alarms going off, I have good spark, and good fuel flow confirmed to the carbs. I believe the oil sensor to be good as my indicator lights are reporting the oil level correctly. Is there a problem with my CDI unit, is there a way to test what might be causing the safe mode to engage?
