"I just got a 1983 Chris Craft Catalina 350.I need to replace
rear seal.Cant get oil pan to drop in the rear by tranny. Do I have to remove the Transmission?

"Unfortunately yes you do the housing from the block to the tranny bolts to the oil pan on the 350 Q here is a pic you can see the housing bolts on the side and there are more inside the housing.
