"I think my engine is suffering from the ill effects of ethanol. While I'm searching now for an alternate petrol supplier, what can I do to treat what's left in the tank? My Merc manual said there are additives on the market that will relieve the separation that takes place.

"I guess the big problem with increased ethanol in fuel is the amount of water it "aborbs", so be sure you have a fuel/water seperator as well. An old Coast Guard Aux friend of mine gave me that tip."
