240 OMC wont idle when hot stalls

Replaced the igniti

"Hi gang,
Replaced the ignition coil, still wont idle when I get over to my rafting spot, it stalls.. I can start it again but cant get it to stay running long enough to get it into gear. If I lift the engine cover and let it sit for 5 minutes I can get it going again ok. Any thoughts? Maybe carb? Never seems to starve for fuel.."

Since the problem appears to be related to heat, check for vapor lock at filter, fuel line near headers, carb. etc.. Also heat can affect electronic ignition components in the engine compartment. What temp. is the engine running?"
