"Hi,is there any real difference between the 120 and 140 other than 20hp? What would the difference be in top speed and fuel economy be between the 120 and 140? Would it be worth the swap? Thanks"

The 120 is a 2.5l engine, where the 140 is a 3.0l. There is a noticeable improvement in torque with the larger engine and top speed is slightly better. Is it worth the swap? Well, that's up to you."

"Run the 120 until You get problems, then swap. The 2,5 is no longer in production, and parts might be difficult to get. On the other hand there might be a 2,5 owner willing to give You a 'good' price for a working and 'fresh' engine and parts.
I would try to put it on the market first and see."
