"its a quicksilver with #s 48 79794 a5 17p, the 17p is the pitch correct? what the dia. is ?should i measure the width? the prop is stainless steel, trying to see if can replace for aluminum 14 x 19 on a 20 foot v-step well craft ALMOST DONE with you guys help thanks"

"Normally when switching from aluminum to stainless you can move down 2" in pitch. This is due to the stainless not flexing at higher speeds. You should gain holeshot and still have the same WOT speed or more. Sometimes it depends on the boat, so you may want to experiment with a few different sizes and diameters to see what works best with your needs.
