There is about a 1/16" pla

There is about a 1/16" play in the propeler shaft ( in and out ) is this an acceptable limit? How do I fix?

"As tsb says, some front/back play is OK. Check for side play; there should be none. Also push the shaft forward and turn it. It should rotate freely and smoothly. If so, and your gears engage OK, you are good to go.
