"Hello everyone, i have a 1997 yamaha 80hp that i aquired through a buisness delaing. the unit sat up for at least 3 years. when i got it i began going through it, fuel, plugs, filters, batteries oil so on. when time to crank it it fired right up.we took it out just for a tes rum and after about a half hour the alarm went off.i modified the thermostat for free flow and thought i had my problem. well we went trial run again and the alarm went off again. it pumps from the pisser right from strart. is there a way to check the sensor. the guy told me the water pump had been changed alreadt but i dont know when. to my understanding just because it pissed dont mean the flow is good.. any help greatly appreciated
