" I have weber #9661s carburetor on my engine and i would like to buy a good service manual covering tuning,repair,and rebuilding of this carb.

I would turn Mercrusier

I would turn Mercrusier directly since you then will have the correct partnumbers, jetting lists and specifications for float level and drop etc for different applications. When Carter dropped the production of carburetors it was Weber of USA that together with Edelbrock bean to manufacture them again. Nowadays, Federal Mogul has started again to manufacture and sell Carters too. Confusing?

I waited Forever for a set of jets(they only come in 1 size from merc) from Merc....
Then I bought a Street/Strip Kit from Carter.....
About 10 different jets,10 sets of needles, 5 sets of springs, various parts... about $30. + had it in less than a Week.....
All the Parts, Numbers,+ Settings Are The Same.....
The Aftermarket parts are Less than Half the cost of Merc stuff,+ you can get them Quickly.... "
