"I'm not a Honda guy but just aquired a real nice Bayrunner with twin 04' 50's on it. It has the prewired Honda harness on it for each engine and gauges but NO trim gauges. According to the owners manual it has 6 wire trim guages. The older stlye, 03 and back, has 4 wire gauges. Anyone know for sure if these older gauges would work. I don't care about the lights working on them. Ebay has these older style's for way cheaper than Mr. Honda wants for the newer ones. Thanks"

"Both engines have four wires for the trim:

Black w/ yellow tracer = ignition (+12v)
Black = ground
red w/ white tracer = lights
Yellow w/ green 9 (or blue) = trim signal

Hope this helps, sorry I can't remember the tracer color on trim signal wire, but I beleive that there is only one yellow wire."
