"My 88 four winns , 3.0 runs great, and everything works on it, including the bilge pump. I have noticed that when i load her on the trailer after a day at the lake, when i pull the drain plug im seeing a couple gallons of water come out. My buddys boat does not drain very much out at all. I always pull up the dog house when we are out on the water just to check the water, but there is never any there. I have checked for holes and cracks in the fiberglass, there is none. Can somebody tell me where in the world the water is coming from ?"

- dripping water pump
- engine drain plug(s) not completely closed
- check all "thru hull" fittings, especially those on the transom.

are you sure you're dry when you put the boat in the water? could some water be sitting forward and then runs back when the boat is launched? this has happened to me (rain water) when i didn't have the trailer tipped back when in the driveway."
