Does anyone know the procedure

Does anyone know the procedure to replace the starter solenoid on a 87 bayliner 5.0L Cobra I/O? One of my sources say the engine must be lifted. Is that true? Thanks.

Whether you can Reach them or Not, depends on How Much Boat is in your way.......
Some boats are built so that the Motor Has to be Pulled......
You're there,+ can See it,........ We Can't......
You'll have to determine whether it's Possible or Not........."
