" during overhaul of this engine, the engine was set with piston one and six at top dead center and it was timed at this position, then the valves was set with number one cylinder first,followed by number five cylinder,followed by number three cylinder, followed by number six cylinder, followed by number two cylinder and lastly number four, after all the settings the engine was turned manually but when feeler gauges were used to recheck the clearance of the valves some were very tight and some lost there former settings.(clearance 15-30mm). please is this the standard for setting a four stroke six cylinder engine if am wrong pls explain the standard procedure.
