"Does anyone know the procedure for correct carb adjustment on a 2001 Yamaha 30 HP 2 stroke oil injected engine. It sometimes dies when accelerating. If left in a set RPM it speeds up & then slows down at will. I have changed the plugs, used a new gas tank with new gas, changed the oil in the injection reservoir, rebuilt the fuel pump, cleaned the fuel filter, added carb cleaner to the gas. The last time I had it out it ran great for 3 hrs. although still not obtaining the full power it used to. After the 3 hrs. I hit a large wave & then the motor died. After that I could not accelerate faster than idle speed. I have tried adjusting the carbs but I think I have just messed it up. Any known easy procedure for doing this???"
