"Starts and idles great. But when you throttle up it takes somewhere around a minute to reach half to three quarters throttle. Never gets to full RPM. Any suggestions?

"1988 125 Force rebuilt, compression good 140 plus all 4 within a pound. new trigger new stator new coils, used modules replaced fly wheel. reed valves removed and checked good. Runs well at idle, Can not get on plane with out a lot of weight shifting. When on plane runs well but not full rpm. Some suggest new carbs my service guy of 20 plus years says he has never replaced carbs. I am trying one more carb rebuild. any comments appreciated. Russ Tampa, FL/"

"Hi Everyone. I have an 84 Force 125 HP. Starts good, but will suddenly die out and sucks the in line fuel flter dry. 145 compression on all cylinders, new plugs. Did have to clean out gas tank due to water in fuel, but fuel is now clean. Fuel pump? Bad fuel bulb or line? Thanks very much."
