"Ok.Here goes. Just bought this used 2000 unit and it wont idle below 1.7 mph. If you turn adjustment too far down it will run but then act like the bowl is running out of gas and will stall. Put new plugs in and after 3 hours they are pitch black along with the back of the motor. I was told by others that this unit should get down to .6 or .7 which would be great. Its a high thrust unit with a 3 blade prop that has been cut down a little bit by previous owner. Just trying to see if its something simple that we may fix before I have to take it to the shop.
