How do you replace the water p

How do you replace the water pickup tube in the lower unit for the speed odometer. I bougt my boat used and someone has broke off a drill bit in it.

the drill bit will rust out eventually. Or you can dissolve the drill bit by getting some "alum" from the chemist and mixing it with water(supersaturated solution) and put it on the steel-does not hurt alloy. Pick at it everyday and after a week or so the steel will dissolve.
