This is a new 4.3 merc that has a rod like noise from it.It runs good and idle fine. I pulled the out drive leg all that is in it is the gimble bearing that seams good. I can see the spline inside and nothing i can realy tell. I crank the motor and the noise is still there! Do i need to pull the motor and than the bell housing?What els could cause the noise?
