"I am having trouble getting interupt and overstroke micro switches to work at right time. Have original omc manual with step by step adjustment but still not correct. I have read past posts about petronox electronic ignition (I have points) and the esa module replacement. Is there something to replace the mechanical part of the esa- the load lever, interupt switch, overstroke switch and overstroke cams?"
 
"I have answered my own post.

"I have answered my own post. Problem was that the tip of the overstroke switch is covered in rubber (waterproofing I suspect?).The rubber had worn off and the overstroke cam was not striking the tip of the switch button. There is no adjustment for the clearance between cam and tip of switch button, only adjustment is when cam will strike tip. I wrapped the cams with black tape so they would come in contact with the switch. Worked fine so I ordered a new overstroke switch."
