"Went to neutral and engine died. No spark at plugs.Shift interrupt is in valley at neutral.Cranked motor and checked three wires at dist. magnet and at control unit to coil (using a voltmeter) showed some fluctuations. No rusts or risidue or heat marks on coil, cntrl unit or dist magnet. Anyone that can help with this issue I will be much obliged."

"Thanks Guy. This weekend I took everything apart that involves digital ignition and did minute metering with a DVM. Isolated the problem to be the distributor magnet gone bad-one side repels and the other attracts. Constructed one myself as these things are no longer on the market. Fired up on first crank and running like a champ.
Storming this sunday, would have loved to give it a run on the water.You guys are great."
