"Hi! I own a 05 Bayliner 185 with a 3.0 cruiser, The last time I went out when it is warm and shut it off when restarting it takes a few turns of the key to have the starter engage all I get is a click sound then it engages. Also when I turn the key off the motor kicks a few times. Any Advice?

Does your battery require distilled water? Yes? Checked it lately? Clean the battery and cable terminals and have the battery load tested and charged. Does the alternator put out 14.8 volts? Belt loose? A fully charged battery should solve your problem.
If battery is GOOD and problem persists, slave solenoid on the engine or starter and/or its solenoid may be going out on you.

Just to add to what Guy has said; sounds like bad wiring/connection or bad solenoid to me. Funny on such a new boat though!
