"Yet another 470 crisis. 0 voltage at the
+ coil terminal when cranking. Wondering if this could be caused by anything other than a bad solenoid. Does anyone know glasply ignition switch wiring well? I replaced mine and put the B to the shift cut-off. I to the purple, which connects to the instrument guages and S to the 12volt source. Sound right?"

I-is purple=supp

It is wrong.
I-is purple=supplies running voltage to the system.
B-battery=supplies voltage to the switch.
S-start=should be yellow or white depending on the age of the boat.

"Ok. Replaced old points, roto
