I have a 1984 Yamaha 25 that s
I have a 1984 Yamaha 25 that shifts easily into forward and runs great. However when I try to shift into reverse it clicks and won't engage. With the motor off I can push the shift lever and turn the prop by hand and it engages and does not slip.
Any Ideas will be deeply appreciated.
