I have recently purchased a Yamaha V8 5.7Ltr 6TO Engine and am unfamiliar with the Timing Set Up of The YEMS Ignition system.
This Ignition has no Distributor Cap ,Rotor Arm , or Points instead just 8 Flags and a pick up inside the Distributor Housing. I also do not see a crank position sensor either.
I also think this engine is built on a GM Block.
I would greatly appreciate if some one could guide me through the Timing Set Up / Sequence for this Ignition system .
I know the firing order and think this system is from around the years 1989 1991.
I would appreciate any help
