"Was going forward and pulled a 'rookie move' by popping it into reverse because I was about to hit something. Then immediately lost my reverse and continued to go straight. Had the engine looked at, and there wasn't anything obvious. Does anyone know if I should start looking at the 'shifting device' or what? Any suggestions? Waiting to receive my service manuals for both parts on the sterndrive. Thx!"
