1971 SEARAY 220 SRV - 165 HP STRAIGHT 6 CYLINDER. MY GPS SAYS 30MPH. SHOULD I BE GOING FASTER. THE BOAT IS BIG AND HEAVY.

"My Searay 215 EC doesn't go a whole faster than that with 50 HP more than you have. You're doing good. Searays are sturdy but heavy boats. Too bad they don't have a fishing boat with a decent size fuel tank.
Also, is your GPS telling you MPH or Knots (Nautical miles per hour)?
30 knots is more like 35 mph."
